This podcast is about the perspective that comes from enduring overwhelming pain, and learning to not run from it. Andy Lear shares deeply about his unique and challenging childhood, where he found safety and solace in the mountains on long solo hikes. He grew up with a substantial stutter and at the age of 24 he fell 40 feet and broke his back. His intimacy with pain is simply remarkable to hear and to ponder. Be prepared for an intense dive into another man's life. This is as real as it gets.
Today Andy is a psychotherapist practicing in Bozeman Montana. You can find him and his work at the following link: http://bit.ly/2sGIGqX.
